Condition improved dramatically with elimination of chicken (already gluten free and on raw diet) and addition of sea repast, enzymes, omega 3s and pre/probiotics. Been over 1 month on above. Never stopped scratching completely. Glaze and peel non dry out and looks great. Previously treated for mites even though no evidence. She is 2.five years onetime.

Please give me whatever advice you believe will help. I acquired a new Chihuahua iv months agone and to brand the very long story short. She had deep scratches on her face which attributed to heat, but later treatment with oral prednisone and antibiotics the scratches looked better only the itching and scratching never stopped and soon spread to my other dogs and so myself.

I have tried pyrethrin shampoos, one domestic dog was treated with oral ivermectrin, I have used frontline plus on them. I got a prescription for permethrin creme for myself and I showered using the pyrethrins dog shampoo on myself. Nothing worked.

And then I tried diatomaceous earth, and neem oil inside and out and on me and my dogs. I treated my chiliad, house, driveway, piece of furniture, defunction, everything with insecticide, did nothing to stop the itching.

I spread cedar shaving and pine shaving everywhere. I've bleached everything possible, fifty-fifty spraying some on myself one day.

I've dipped the dogs in apple tree cider vinegar, which seemed to relieve the itching for a couple of hours. I soap up and shower every night followed by spraying diluted apple tree cider vinegar on me keeping it on for a few minutes, and then rinsing it off. Then I rub skin and so soft all over me, followed with antifungal cream or pulverisation. In the mornings I put on more pare so soft and antifungal medication. Nothing actually works this just enables me to sleep a picayune while (if I accept a sleeping pill).

Hydrocortizone creams, antifungal creams, menthol lotions all seem to help temporarily, but zero gets rid of this.

I soak the wear that can non be bleached in peppermint oil. I've showered with several differnt kinds of antifungal, antibacterial, antimicrobial soaps, tea tree shampoos.

I sprayed myself, my dogs, my house twice now with cedarcide 4 days apart. The first spraying seemed to help, then I was pretty assured that this would piece of work, so I tried it over again. before I could even finish applying the second round the itching was increasing on me and my dogs, my heart sank.

I am drastic. I am on disability and and so money is a real trouble getting whatever treatment along with the embarrassment of hearing my doctor and my vet calling it parsitetosis. I heighten Chihuahuas, like all my dogs have parasitetosis also.

So my son suggested your site but I am very confused which treatment will work for me. I have itching, burning constantly. I feel pin prick bites. My skin feels like fiberglass is rubbing confronting information technology. No bugs of any sort have been found on me or the dogs. My vet has washed a black light inspection of my dogs, a deep skin scraping, and checked the skin flaking under the microscope. I accept no visible bite marks. My peel feels constantly irritated, everywhere. I mean absolutely everywhere, no part of my body is crawling frre. I feel the itchy burning sensations from my privates to inside my nostrils. Ther just place that is non affected as much is my scalp. I figure that is due to hairspray, which must stop it a little. Oh even my eyes itch, the eyelids and eyeballs.

I no longer accept the orginal Chihuahua that started all this. I sent her back thinking she may exist a carrier of something...that did no good, the problems is still here. I am the only one who itches. My eldest son stays with me alot and he has no itching.

So I am lost as to what to effort adjacent. I have used borax in my laundry, only I didn't utilise it with peroxide and I am confused as to how much borax and how much peroxide to utilize and do I apply it in how h2o with detergent and bleach?

Please aid I am feeling and then hopeless. Thank y'all and then much for listening to me and thank you in advance for whatsoever advice you lot can give me.

Wow! I tin sooooo chronicle to the itching. Get-go things first, accept y'all checked your diet? Have you added anything to your and your dogs diet that your son does not swallow. I found that grains, and eating high carbs brand me itch. I itched and so badly at one fourth dimension, that I scratched all night; couldn't sit downwardly without itching from my scalp to my toes. Dropping milk and all grains relieved that problem too every bit bad periods. One affair near grains, they increase fungus and mold, so, I'd stop eating them. 2nd thing that helped was coconut oil. I use it for mite relief and this could be what yous have as you say the hair spray keeps your scalp from itiching. My daughter and her friends melt virgin coconut oil and smear information technology into the skin of their pets afterward washing them downward in ACV. Coconut oil is not bad for fungus, extreme dry flaking pare conditions but, you must be persistant about applying. I would terminate using any soap and wipe downwards with VCO everyday; then lay in a tub of baking soda (one box per tub -- information technology is inexpensive) or use merely baking soda to wash with. I so hope you get better! Knowing how excruciating this tin feel, I'll be sending a whole lot of prayers your way. Cat

Externally, use a cotton ball to apply the vinegar to the bites 2-3 times a day.

Borax, Hydrogen peroxide!

Whew. What a relief! I have been perplexed as to me and my children's disquiet for over a calendar month now. Started with intense itching after getting into bed 1 dark. Then my children started exhibiting signs. Took them to dr kickoff, as my dermatologist was booked until Feb vii. Their medico said "folliculitis" so took daughter again for a coughing, dr. said "impetigo. " So when I showed her my hand, she said "could it be fleas or scabies?" I freaked out! I really hoped it wasn't. To make a long story short, checked house and cleaned for fleas. No response with a dwelling remedy check for fleas. Tonight while researching, found this info. Kids are asleep, only I mixed borax with hy. Peroxide. Mixed in a bowl and poured over body. Total relief. I have also been using tea tree oil mixed with coconut oil for a few weeks now, so I think that'due south why information technology wasn't getting worse, only wasn't getting meliorate either! Tomorrow, my kids get the bathroom and we will continue to exercise mounds of laundry! Tin can't wait for this to exist over!!!! There is relief in site for those of you looking. All the best!

General Feedback

I'yard non sure if I finally accept this under control merely I'1000 hoping with all my might that information technology'due south finally going away.

Back in May I visited a friend and we went to her lake business firm. When I came back home I started getting these "bites" on my torso. At first I thought they were chiggers as we were out in a woody expanse but as time went on these little bites started moving around my torso. It wasn't very itchy merely I was worried nearly bugs so I went to my dermatologist'southward PA who didn't think it was chiggers but gave me Peremthrin simply in case. I applied 1 application and didn't think much almost it. Slowly the itchiness increased and spread from my torso to my arms. And I didn't think much about it until one morning I started feeling itchy on the skin effectually my pubic bone. The next 24-hour interval my vagina was swollen and was incredibly itchy along with my anus. I had a few yeast infections before and recognize the feeling and knew this could not be a yeast infection.

I saw my gynecologist who also didn't think information technology was a yeast infection but took a culture just in example. That came back negative. The husband and I started researching what it could be and feared scabies pinworms given that the itch was worse at dark. My GP prescribed Abendazole for the pinworms (at my request) and Prednisone to help alleviate the itching. Prednisone temporarily relieved the itching but I started taking more than than one tablet a twenty-four hour period (as prescribed) because the itching began to render faster.

I saw another dermatologist who adamant information technology was scabies and gave me more Permethrin. My hubby and I both applied information technology that nighttime. For i evening I didn't crawling and assumed it was scabies (gross). The next day the crawling came dorsum with a vengeance. At this indicate, I'm losing sleep and my mind trying to fight the intense urge to itch.

I found this site: https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/scabies.html and began reading about how others have the same symptoms and their holistic remedies. I started to bathe in Borax, hydrogen peroxide, clove oil, orange oil and eucalyptus oil. After getting out I would mix clove oil with a carrier oil and apply it to my peel. It burned in areas where I scratched my skin raw but the burn was a nice departure from the urge to crawling. Anytime the intense urge came back I would apply more clove oil mixture as a preventative to scratch. I began to cone myself like a domestic dog by wrapping plastic food wrap around my arms and torso and then I couldn't unconsciously scratch my skin at night. At this fourth dimension I idea I was treating scabies and every dark it was a fight to non tear my skin off.

I'm a dwelling maker (thank goodness considering I don't call back I could become to work with this sort of miserable itching) and spent all twenty-four hour period cleaning my firm and washing sheets in fearfulness that I might have an infestation of mites. One night information technology was so bad I scheduled a internal medicine doctor, 3rd dermatologist and return GP date the adjacent day. I was prescribed Atarax by my GP, more than Atarax and Prednisone by my Internal Medicine doctor and Hydroxyzine and Allegra by my 3rd Dermatologist. Both my Internal Medicine and dermatologist ordered a battery of lab work. All came back normal. And then frustrated at this point. But my 3rd dermatologist, a former army doctor, said that he saw scabies all the time in the army and what I had was not scabies. He gave me the Allegra and Hydroxyzine to treat the symptoms of itching and asked me to come up dorsum in three weeks. I only took the medicine that he prescribed notwithstanding the relief was then temporary I scheduled an date with an allergist - determined to find out a cause or a solution to this problem. The allergist was thorough in asking about the timeline, doctors I saw, symptoms I felt and a broad adjust of questions to actually empathize my problem. He said he would accept ordered the same lab work as what my dermatologist and internal medicine medico ordered. He prescribed Zyrtec to take in the morning and a double dose of Hydroxyzine at night. I asked him what could crusade this and he suspects it might be the "scratch-itch cycle" (my GP as well thought information technology might be this at the time of my second visit). I hoped the drugs would be enough but I still felt stiff urges to itch and was all the same miserable. I hoped that given enough days maybe this would finally piece of work but when every minute feels similar days it doesn't take long for you to get really frustrated with waiting.

I started looking back at my planner and seeing what was going on around the time this started. Last November I had jaw surgery and had my mouth wired shut for six weeks. At that fourth dimension I could not take Levoxyl and afterward forgot to resume to accept it. And so this April I returned to my Endocrinologist because I was feeling horrible once again and she tested my blood and confirmed my thyroid was working overtime. I went dorsum on Levoxyl 50 mcg and started feeling so much better. But then a calendar month after the "bites" started. I then Googled "Levoxyl" and "itching" and establish if you lot take more than you lot should people started feeling bad symptoms including itching around their labia. I know I shouldn't become off medication without consulting my doctor only I had to test the theory if Levoxyl was causing this - so I stopped taking it 5 days ago. I'm not 100% back to normal only the intense urge to crawling ha been reduced to a mild nuisance of tingling. I prefer this over the erstwhile. Today I'm feeling so much better but I'm not entire sure as to what it can be attributed to. Either it's (1) I'm off Levoxyl (2) I'g taking Prednisone now (3) it'due south finally rained after months of drought in Houston and maybe it was something in the dry air that was agitating my peel or (iv) the high dose of Turmeric I took - a natural anti-inflammatory. I just desire this done and over with. If it is scratch-itch cycle I promise to suspension it shortly because this itch is debilitating. Skilful luck everyone else and I hope yous find the relief/solution to your discomfort.

For temporary relief of itching, scratching with your own fingernails doesn't seem to aid.
